Signage installation at Reading's 21st Century Q-Park

Reading's new 600 space multi-storey car park in Chatham Place is part of a £250 million development, including shops and homes, by Muse Developments (formerly AMEC).

Owned and operated by Q-Park, the modern 10-floor building features an exterior of natural wood louvre panels made from sustainable sources.

Like all Q-Park's parking facilities, the Reading car park has a distinct, recognisable and consistent house style which includes the use of blue lighting and clear red and green signage and equipment.

Harrisons manufactured and installed a variety of signage for the project, including:

  • Large internally illuminated projecting signs
  • Directional and information signage
  • Q-Park branding
  • Internally illuminated flex-face signs
    ( each 2.7m high by 2.5m wide)

Q-Park's exceptionally high quality parking products and customer service distinguish it from its competitors, and the company demands similar standards from its suppliers.

Consistency of housestyle is of great importance to the Q-Park corporate philosphy, and the Harrisons team ensured all signage was finished accurately to RAL colour references specified by the customer.

Q-Park was founded in the Netherlands on 1st January 1998, since when, it has continued its expansion across Europe and is now represented in 10 different countries including Belgium, France and the UK.
