| Wednesday 13th September was Harrisons Sales Account
Manager, Richard Hunter's last day at work before his wedding, and
he had spent the day busily clearing his desk of work for the three
weeks he was due to be away.
Little did he know the Harrisons graphics team were busy plotting
- cutting garish coloured vinyl lettering and lovehearts to decorate
his car. All they needed was a distraction...
"I thought it was strange when our MD arranged a last minute
meeting in his office, and then proceeded to discuss things we had
already gone over..." said Richard.
Meanwhile, the application team made light work of speedily adhering
the graphics to his car, leaving it with a tasteful "Bazza
& Shazza" style windscreen visor, and a full complement
of bright red hearts.
Richard took the practical joke like the good sport he is, and even
posed for a few photographs.
However, he wasn't expecting the photo session to continue on his
journey home. As he sat at some traffic lights in York city centre,
a large group of Japanese tourists all started taking snaps of him
in his fabulous Love Wagon.
"I couldn't believe it" Richard sighed, "it
was pretty embarrassing. Thanks, guys."
Richard is now a married man (sorry, ladies) and will, we imagine,
be keeping a closer eye on his car when he returns from his honeymoon
in the Maldives!
