After weeks of gathering prizes and sending out invites, the date for the 2006 “Biggest Coffee Morning in the World” arrived.

The event, arranged worldwide by Macmillan Cancer Relief, takes place annually with companies and individuals holding tailor-made events, adding their own fundraising features to complement the coffee and Macmillan merchandise available.

Suppliers, customers and staff attending the 2006 Harrisons event enjoyed sideshow attractions such as the Wheel of Fortune, Soccer Shoot Out, Tombola, as well as this year’s Grand Prize Draw.

Participants walked away with a variety of superb prizes kindly donated by local businesses and Harrisons staff members.

The morning raised a total of £770 for Macmillan, bringing the total raised at Harrisons coffee mornings to £5377.
