Jeans for Genes - Harrisons Staff Dress Up for Charity

<< Back to News

Remember the days when you could pay a pound and wear what you liked to school? Well they’re BACK!

The Jeans for Genes campaign (www.jeansforgenes.com) encourages people to make a donation of just £2 and show their support by wearing their jeans into work.

The money raised goes to charities working for children with genetic disorders and last year the campaign got 47000 companies jumping into their jeans, doing their bit to add to the £24 million already raised in previous years.

The Harrisons team happily put their fundraising hats on again (this time literally!) and added their own twist to the event.

Given that many of our production and fixing staff wear jeans to work anyway, Harrisons employees opted to wear unusual hats and headgear to add something extra to the occasion.

Head wear of note included a Red-Indian (native American – PC Editor) head-dress, a Tunisian Fez, a pirate, a cow-girl and a set of fluffy cat ears.
