Harrisons Signs proud to sponsor York City Knights

York City Knights, a team that has risen to great heights through sheer hard work, determination and a fantastic coach – why wouldn’t we partner with them!

The Knights Commercial Manager and first team player, Ben Cockayne, approached Harrisons offering us the opportunity to be part of the Knights sponsorship team.

And we’re proud to sponsor Head Coach, James Ford.  James has been coaching the Knights since 2015. In 2018 he led the team to promotion to the Betfred Championship League.  James is highly respected by his players and the vibrance and integrity that he brings to the club are key attributes that resonate with the Harrisons brand.

The Knights main sponsor is York St John University. The Knights train at the fantastic facilities within the university and the players, together with James, assist the university students with their Sports programmes and research.   Harrisons Signs has a long working relationship with the University so it seemed a perfect fit for the partnership.

If you’re a Rugby League fan and you get the opportunity to go and watch the Knights, look out for our pitch board signs at Bootham Crescent and then at their new home at the new York Community Stadium.
