Harrisons light up one of Oxford Street's biggest stores

Continuing our work with Benefit Cosmetics, Harrisons Signs produced and installed a stellar piece of illuminated signage for an interior display in Topshop’s flagship store on London’s famous Oxford Street.

Thick illuminated block acrylic letters were fashioned in our workshop, coming together to create Benefit’s recognisable branding with a unique faux neon effect, an effect with all the aesthetic benefits of neon illumination, but with a high energy efficiency rating as well!

The edges of each individual letters were carefully rounded, a technique known as bull-nosing, and the sides of the letters were finished in pink with a pink braided coloured cable inserted to provide a partial edge illumination feature. Each of these stylistic effects were used in carefully planned tandem to help give the desired chic and stylish finish Benefit Cosmetics were looking for.

These acrylic letters were mounted to a clear acrylic box, measuring 1500mm wide x 500mm high x 80mm deep, which completed the installation. Have a look at the gallery of production and installation photos which you’ll find to the right if you’re on your computer, or down below if you’re on your smartphone!
